**Service Above Self. Making a Difference on the West Side of the Lake.**

Big things happen when a community comes together! The Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary Club brings together local professionals, business owners, and community members who share a passion for giving back to the Lake of the Ozarks.

As part of Rotary International, the club follows the motto "Service Above Self," turning friendships, fundraising, and volunteer efforts into meaningful support for local families, schools, and organizations.

**A Club That Gives Back**

Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary has a long history of supporting the west side of Lake of the Ozarks. From providing college scholarships to supporting food pantries and educational programs, the club focuses on projects that make a real difference close to home.

Its community efforts have included:

- College scholarships and youth education
- Support for the Westlake Aquatic Center
- Donations to local food pantries and Buddy Pack programs
- Support for Hurricane Deck Elementary School
- Community improvement and volunteer projects
- Contributions to charitable organizations throughout the Lake area

The club also supports Rotary International initiatives, including efforts to eradicate polio worldwide.

**Having Fun While Doing Good**

Who says fundraising can't be fun?

Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary knows how to bring the community together through creative events. Fundraisers like Pirates Plunder on the Beach, where participants dig for hidden treasure chests and prizes, help raise money for charitable giving throughout the year.

The club also participates in Lake-area events, including the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, helping turn community traditions into opportunities to support important causes.

**Good People. Good Conversations. Great Causes.**

Rotary isn't just about fundraising. It's also about building connections with people who care about their community.

Members meet weekly for lunch, fellowship, guest speakers, and conversations about what's happening around the Lake. It's an opportunity to meet local leaders, learn something new, and work alongside others who want to make a difference.

Whether you're a business owner, professional, retiree, or community member looking for a meaningful way to get involved, Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary offers a place to connect and serve.
